tomwer 2.0 highlights#
Extracting Nabu reconstruction parameters#
nabu reconstruction parameters have been moved to a specific widget (Nabu Settings).
Note
For a workflow that used to be defined previously as:
We now need to add the ‘Nabu Settings’ widget.
Warning
As a consequence the existing workflows defined in version 1.0 are not more compatible with version 2.0.
Hint
The multi-pag` widget propagates Nabu reconstruction parameters to downstream components. All output values match the input values, except for the delta/beta value, which reflect the value currently selected via the user interface.
Splitting the Reduced Darks and flats reduction & copy in two separated widgets#
To clarify the workflow and simplify operations for copying darks and flats, we have extracted this functionality into a dedicated task.
Note
tomwer 1.0 automatically copied missing darks/flats, sometimes silently. If raw data contained darks/flats frames, they were processed before any copying. Copying only occurred if reduced frames didn’t already exist.
tomwer 2.0 keeps the same behavior, but now you must explicitly enable copying by adding the widget.
Changed default cast / converted volume location#
The default location has moved from inside reconstructed_volumes` to the same parent level.”
Ewoksification#
Enforce ewoksification. Processing from ewoks-execute is now ‘assured’. See video: TODO TO ADD
Update working directory management#
Replace output options by using a single ‘path’ that can contains reserved keywords.
Removed deprecated widgets#
(old) volume viewer -> replaced by the new one introduced in the 1.6 version
Timer -> Moved to dedicated ‘project’ (ewoksnotify)
‘data listener’ (using rpc) -> Replaced by the ‘bliss-data listener’ (using bliss-data)
‘SinogramIntensityNormalization’ -> never used
Removed outdated applications#
‘tomwer-stop-datalistener’ -> now using blissdata
‘tomwer-intensity-normalization’ -> never used
Remove possibility to have loops#
Until now, due to legacy it was possible to create loops. Since we can retrieger from the ‘processview’ table this is no more required.
